Starter Service Kit
The Starter Service Kit is our entry-level package for corporate farms that want to begin automated soil monitoring without committing to a full-scale deployment. It includes a calibrated set of soil sensors, a compact data logger, and a field guide written for Malaysian conditions. The kit is designed for estates that are still mapping their soil variability and need a reliable baseline before scaling up.
What makes this kit different from a simple sensor bundle is the service layer around it. Each kit ships with a pre-configured dashboard account, so your agronomy team can see moisture, temperature, and electrical conductivity readings within a day of installation. The sensors are tested against local soil types, including the clay-heavy coastal soils common around Klang and the more sandy inland plots. That means the readings you get on day one are already adjusted for the conditions your crop actually grows in.
For a corporate farming operation, the practical value is straightforward: you stop guessing about irrigation timing and start working from field data. The kit covers roughly one to two hectares depending on crop spacing, which is enough to establish a monitoring rhythm and identify the zones that need closer attention. It is not a full estate solution, and it is not meant to be. It is a starting point that gives your team a working method before you invest in wider coverage.
What is in the kit
- Four soil sensors with pre-calibrated probes for tropical conditions
- One weather-resistant data logger with cellular connectivity
- Dashboard access with live readings and seven-day history
- Field installation guide with diagrams for common Malaysian crops
- One remote calibration check within the first month of use
The kit does not include permanent mounting hardware or trenching services. Most estates already have the poles and cable trays needed for a temporary setup. If you are unsure whether your site is ready, the guided setup option covers the installation decisions in more detail.
Each Starter Service Kit is assembled and tested before dispatch. The sensors are checked against a reference standard, and the logger is configured with your farm's coordinates so the data appears in the right place on the dashboard from the first upload.
